World Conference on Marine Biodiversity
The objectives of this conference are: to review the current understanding of marine biodiversity, its role in marine ecosystem functioning and its socio-economic context; to assess current and future threats and potential mitigation strategies for conservation and regulation of marine resources; and to identify future research priorities.

A number of grants to support scientists from developing countries are available. Scientists from developing countries are encouraged to apply for these grants. Candidates should give an abstract for a poster or oral presentation and include a CV in their application and should register directy with moira.llabres@uib.es before 1 April. The decision on grants will be taken before May 31.
